I know this has been posted before, but I can't find the thread. I'd like to see some pics of amps mounted to the backwall of the cab before I start to make mine.

how are those helps mounted to the wall?

1/4" MDF mounted to the wall with industrial strength Velcro,

LOL I couldn't deal emotionally with penetration....


And yes, I really did use Velcro :)

It's been almost 3 years and it's held up very well.

Don't the amps get pretty hot when you put em behind the seat like that?
The only one I've ever had go into thermal shutdown is the 350 watt mono amp...it's the only one that's underpowered. The 1500 and the 550 have never shut off on me.

so how did ya'll deal with the vents on the sides? did you just cut of the black things mounted to the insulation and cover the plastic vents with the mdf?

I covered my rear vents with dynamat and didnt have to bolt or screw down the piece I used. I just used a piece of 1/2" plywood and once the 2 rear panels were bolted back in they held in the piece, almost too snugly
