Just thought I would show some pictures of the 02 Tahoe I picked up a few weeks ago. I was able to see the diamond in the rough and decided I couldn't go wrong for $6000. I finally got it close to being clean enough to show some pictures. Lets just say that when I brought her home there was no shine to the paint at all. There were seven years of grime build up from only being washed at the no touch car wash at the gas station. I bought it from the original owners who traveled quite a bit in it. It runs like a top and really cleaned up nice. Just thought I would share. Let me know what you think.

Sorry, I couldn't get the pics to show up in the message, what did I do wrong??

Wow not bad. Crazy considering the sticker had to easily be up in the mid to high 30's when it was originally sold. I have a few questions if you don't mind... Where did you find the truck? How many miles? Year?

Just wondering as the wife and I are out on the lookout to buy another vehicle and that bodystyle Tahoe is a great option. The blue book on some are as low as $5000 depending on the year and mileage, etc. We recently came close to buying an '09 Tahoe but we couldn't bring ourselves to spend $40K on a vehicle. My current Tahoe is OK with me.

I live in Charlotte, NC and found this one on Craigslist down in Myrtle Beach, SC. How the sale took place is a little bit of a long story but the five cent version is that I had to wait about a month before I could get it because the owner had to take a trip. It was a one owner vehicle with 155k miles. Dealer maintained and runs like a top. I couldn't find another one like it in that shape for anything under $10k so for $6k I bought it with a big smile and drove back to Charlotte.

Not a bad price.

Jeff, would you sell yours if you got another one?

I am planning on doing a CAI, exhaust maybe a custom tune for now. And in the future I would say surely different wheels and would like a cowl induction hood. I am going to keep an eye out for another engine and have one in the works for the future. My good friend owns a engine building company and machine shop......that is a good one to have. Thanks for the compliments, I love it. We just took it away for the weekend up to Greensboro and on the highway it was hard to keep it under 85 mph, ran great!!
