Hello all!!! I am in search of my 1988 red shorted 1500. I was told it was last registered in OHIO. This is a unique truck! I will post a picture of it, very soon. The truck had one tone axles in it, straight axle up front, of course. . The dead give away to this truck was the tail gate.had a mural painted on it, of the truck on the beach, and my sea ray pachanga in the ocean. The truck had over $20,000 worth of audio in it, and dual alternators to power it all. I last owned it in 92, it was in show condition when I had to sell it due to some serious family/life issues. Things are good now, and i would love nothing more than to have it back!!! I am prepared to travel, and do what ever it is I need to do to get her back!!!!!! I had a lot of time into the fabrication of this truck, it was always garage kept, and never once saw snow. I bought it brand new in late 87, and within 6 months, it was straight axled the entire fuel injection was removed, and I installed the 5.7 engine built by my friend, italso had a TH400 tray in it. I will post the only picture I have of it soon. I am keeping my fingers crossed that someone out there can help me out!!!!! My son is turning 16, and I would love nothing more than to have this truck as a father son project for him. This thing turned heads everywhere it went!!!! 6 inch suspension lift, M/T rims, Dick cepec fun countries. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE help me find it!!!!!!! I could go on all day about the history of this thing, so please anyone out there with any info about this, please contact me, I don't even care if the thing is trashed somewhere, sitting in a field. This truck represented a great time in mine and my families life!!!! PLease help!!!!

I may be reading it wrong but sounds like you committed warranty fraud for a engine, then put it in writing on a public forum. The tech that did it could get busted to cause I'm sure he flagged the hours for it. Techs, service writers, and parts guys have gone to jail for that sort of thing. Cool story bro. Hope you find your truck. Smh

Like beckmand said, run a car fax and you will have somewhere to start and at least know if it is still out there somewhere. If you don't have the vin number to it, your odds of finding it are very slim.

Me too damn it, but regardless of fraudulent activities I think you're pissing in the wind trying to find a truck you built 25 yrs ago. So good luck with that and the fraud and what not.
