Hey guys, i've been having a problem with my 01 silverado, whenever it rains the motor cuts down to 2 or 4 cylinders and runs like crap. I thought it was maybe a short somewhere because it only occured when it got wet, however, today during nice dry weather it cut out and slowly seemed to go down to one cylinder and eventually died. The check engine light flashes when its cutting out. I dont have a code reader currently but i will get the codes asap. I'm thinking it's a main harness or computer failure? The truck will not even start now and I'm in the middle of moving out so any help is appreciated.

Oh is it a 6cyl? I'd check the cap and rotor like he said then.... Good idea
