Ok guys here is where im at with my truck. Its a 93 GMC with a 4/6 drop factory posi with the 350 auto. Very quick light truck, im not gonna bag it for another couple of years. Next on order are headers and dumps with no cats right off the headers. Im thinking of leaving the paint two tone ive been told it has a classic look to it. Now my only thing is being its gonna stay static for sometime and im into the horsepower hot rod thing im not sure what to do with wheels. Do i run 20s with a wider 20" wheel out back with bigger tires so it still has the hot rod style with an updated look? Or do i run a classic style wheel 15" with phatty tires. Im really torn on this let me know what you guys think.
The moldings are coming off asap!

leave the paint, run 18's or 20's.
for what your doing with the HP I'd go with some nice 18"X10" in the rear and 18"X7" in the front. Oh and of course billet aluminum. If you wanna go fast weight is your enemy.
Pro street is dead......go with 18's or 20's.
Do both. Mickey Thompson makes this tire http://mickeythompsontires.com/street.php?item=SportsmanSR If you look, they have it all the way through 33X22R20. Talk about a steam roller.
So 18s or 20s with either set 18x10 oe 20x10 out back with a wide ass tire is now the way to go for the style im looking for? Somewhat the newage sizes with the same type of oldschool style of the 15s from back in the day of the muscle car years.
So the 15x8 weld style racing wheel in front and a 15x10 with a phatty tire out rear is now outdated?
see sig!!!!!!

Im conflicted. :hmm:
Is the truck fast? If not, 20" or better.

do a nice 17 or 18 inch rims

youll keep your power and steal be big pimpin mang jsygk
run 18's or 20's for sure. but dont run something flashy run a classic looking wheel so that everyone knows that its a new truck with some wicked power and classic looks still. Run it fat outback whatever you do.
So either a set of 18s with an agressive offset for the rear for some fat tires or 20s with an agressive offset for the rear for fat tires. Here is what im really diggin size and tire wise.. ITs sickness to me look wise and tire size.

here is a picture i know its on a classic body style but the wheel and tire setup is sickness. Does anyone know what the size might be? Im thinking they are 18s?????
