the first Idea came from the way my dad stores the air tools in our garage, basically a board hung off the wall with quick connect fittings in it. well that looks cheap so I bolted some stuff together and made one out of brackets and sheet metal, nice but not exactly what i want it to be. so here is what I am going to make.

Standard size is going to be 16" long (so it will attach to almost any service cart), and hold 5 air tools. It will be made out of sheet metal (im thinking 16 gauge but whatever is heavy duty enough to hold up 5 air tools) and powder coated a standard black, other colors will be a little bit extra and I can get quick couplers that will match the colors pretty close (black red blue green ect) and other sizes can be made too but I am sure on a price yet but what would you guys be willing to pay for something like this?

I know a couple great welders so it will be a quality product.

It's a good idea. Craftsman sells something similar but they stand up instead of hang. My only concern is will it be sturdy enough to hold an impact. Those get faily heavy especially when coupled with a grinder, ratchet, etc.
