You said you were taking the Dmax off the table for the Blazer. Just looking to get a rise out of us or saving the Max for the inevitable truck you posted?
Idk what I'm doing with the blazer yet 😂, if I'm gonna go all out on a crew cab build I'm starting with a l5p 😂

I actually went by to talk to a salesman after I got off. He mentioned the price and when I said they were high as a kite, he went on a tangent about how no one can get new trucks because chips aren’t being made so it drive the prices of preowned up, how it’s a really clean truck for the age, etc. I flat out told him that I’m not stupid enough to pay $46k for a truck that was worth 36k two years ago when it was newer and had less miles, and he pretty much told me to pound sand lol

It literally gives me a chub thinking about how truck production will catch up soon and the used market will dip back down, fucking the dealers who created the hike in the first place when they're left with lots full of trucks they overpaid for. They'll get what's coming to them

The rub for me is this chip shortage is I'm looking to drop the Ram like a hot potato & come out with a little pocket change. Time it wrong & I'm holding the bag.

Prices are out of control. Talked to a sales guy that sold a new Raptor to a guy in Cali. for $81000.00 + $2000.00 to ship it. And I am in Minn.

Shit, there's a 2019 here with 25k miles listed for $75k lol

Not sure if the dealer is more stupid for charging that much or the buyer for paying that price. Here's another funny one. I got an email from Carfax (some service from where I bought my Ram). Carfax missed my mileage by 1K, but said my truck should have a trade in value of $33K. Shit, the original sticker price was $33.5K. I know there isn't a dealership that would offer that for my stripper truck, but where are they getting their numbers from? Their ass?

First I've heard of this electric vehicle maker, but if they can be affordable, they'll be a hit. Not seeing a vehicle that I don't like.

I'm glad you posted this. I saw it the other day and forgot the name of it. I'm pretty interested in one if they're gonna be as cheap as they are saying.
There was only 1 article I saw that even listed a ballpark price. They look like they should be in the high 20s-low 30s, but that article said they were aiming for $38K to start. That sound effect of screeching tires rang through my head when I read that.

That's not a bad thing. At least it's nice to see some trucks with those old favorites (professional add-on lights, roll bars, etc.).

Yeah the first article I read on it said 20s and that it would be similar size to a ram 50 or hilux of the 80s. Last article I found was less promising. Gonna be bigger and cost more. Would make a bad ass daily

There is a couple YouTube videos up under their name . Guys that designed them look like ******* but concept is cool needs more ground clearance tho . YouTube videos said could be up to high 40s with add ons on price

I'm trying to think of a word that best describes these vehicles....

"Progressive" maybe? Definitely very unique.

If they start mid-30s for the regular cabs & go up from there, they aren't doing a damn thing to usher in the "electric revolution". For me, they look like they have enough ground clearance. I ain't trying to conquer Moab.
