The drivers side window works fine when its cool outside but on hot days it doesnt seem to want to do anything. Doesnt go up or down and doesnt make any noises. It's on my gf's 99 tahoe. Maybe it's just a coincidence that it doesnt work on hot days but what should i look into? Window switch? regulator? motor?

If you have a power probe you can disconnect the wiring from the switch and put power directly to the harness. If the window works its the switch. If not take the motor out and put power directly to the motor. If the motor works look for a pinched wire of some sort.

my guess is a loose conection somewhere. cold ='s contraction. When the temp rises a bit things expand, thus loosing the conection. Try trouble shooting like the above post explains.
