Does anyone know if the PPE "Mike L" transmission cooler will work on a non-Allison application? I want to replace the factory cooler that is on my sub but like to use plug and play stuff that utilizes factory fittings etc. I'm not sure if the new cooler has the right fittings or not and PPE isn't really responsive to emails.

just get the tru kool max from oregon performance transmission. there's a guy on performance trucks that sells fittings and brackets for a bolt on install minus some cutting and relocating of the factory hard lines. its really not that difficult and the tru kool max is by far the best trans cooler

Well I got my answer from the guy who used to build them so it looks like a Tru Kool is the answer. I hate cutting on hard lines and stuff, does anyone know if I can have new braided hoses made so I'm not clamping anything? I have a hydraulic shop less than a mile from my house and can get AN fittings and hose cheap.

hard line >>>>>>> steel braided line.

its SUPER easy. get a basic tube cutter and a joint to connect the two tubes back together. way easier and dont have to worry about all the AN fittings.
