i have a 2000 gmc sierra slt with leather and its still winter here but come summer time i'd like to pull the whole interior, seats and carpet out and clean everything really well. How hard is it to pull apart everything in this truck?
Interiors are pretty easy to strip imo. never an 00 slt, but I'm certain its probably an easy job. However, I dont see much reason to pull out the carpet since that can be cleaned just as easily while its still in. IF you do, think about laying down some sound deadening material or something while its out. At least make the job a little more worth while imo.
yeah i was thinking of laying that down to, or just spray in liner cause i live in salt city so.. cause i wanna hook up a amp and sub sometime this summer, figured if i was cleaning it and took the carpet out already then running wires would be easy
