Can i run a dual compressor setup consisting of a 450 and a 380 using one pressure switch? In this case would you recommend 110psi on/145psi off?

Ive been reading about this, and im stumped. The 450 is rated at a max of 150 psi and the 380 is rated at 200psi. Would i have to run a dual pressure switch set ups? If i can use one which would be an ideal pressure switch? I plan to run two 5 gallon tanks.

there's a couple ways to do this:
connect the tanks and have one mass 10 gallon supply and run a 150 max pressure switch. cons are that you will be refilling the tank more often due to the low air pressure. This is what I would do if I had to use these compressors.

run the 380 to one tank and run a 200 psi switch and operate the front off that tank because of the heavier weight. run the 450 to the other tank on a 150 psi switch and operate the rear bags because theres not as much weight.
cons to this is that if one compressor happens to fail, the front or back will be able to be lifted.

If you already have both compressors then link the tanks together and use a 150 psi switch and see if it's fast enough fill time for you. if not, then it's just replacing a pressure switch and 1 compressor. not a big deal at all.

Appreciate it Brett, Ima have the 450 as a back up, and ima run dual 380s instead.

Thanks for answering the pm too :handshake:
