Are the PVD chrome wheels any count? I found the CK 156 reproduction wheels but they dont come in chrome only the PVD. From what I gathered it is a type of powder coat then with clear coat I just didnt know it it shined like chrome and how well it held up. Thanks

To most people they wouldn't even know PVD from Chrome if they liked 'shiny' its just the chrome guys that would notice the difference. Its more durable than chrome in salt/winter climates as well

it's supposed to be VERY durable, however it's all in the quality of the work done like anything else

I bought a cheap set of 20s off eBay for my Silverado. They have the pvd coating. I have owned chrome wheels, polished aluminum, and regular powder coated wheels and I must say the pvd coating has been the easiest to maintain and they look great. If you compare them side by side to a chrome wheel you can see a small difference, but not much. I clean my truck often and all I ever need is some soapy water to get them looking brand new. This is the first Missouri winter they have seen so we will see how they last through the salt and sand

I wondered about these too since I found a set of 8 lug LTZ style wheels with the 8 on 6.5 bolt pattern on ebay recently.
