why do my subs sound better & louder with the windows down? :321:

cuz they are breathing better. The air is able to move around ,more freely

ive never thought about that for a truck...my blazer has the opposite problem, i guess its cuz theres about 4x as much airspace in it and it has a fiberglass top...and then when the tops off, it can't be heard in the truck...sure the neighbors love it tho...

well with the top off your not pressurizing anything inside the blazer, just the outside air. That way you dont hear the spl as much if any
