Hey, Thanks for reading. I'm currently looking to buy a new truck and have settled on either a 2005 Suburban 2wd with the 5.3 or a 2003 4wd with the 5.3. Is there anything I should be aware of when going over these two trucks? Mostly common problem area's?

Also what kind of real life fuel economy can I expect to get? I'm usually light on the pedal.

Any info would be much appreciated.

If you need/want 4wd get it. What's the miles? Prices? Interior options? Condition?

specifics are helpful if you want opinions.

the only thing i can think of is check to make sure the 4wd works

4 wheel will net you 1-2 mpg less at max. Get it and you will be happy you did if you ever need it. Like it has already been said. Miles, price, etc. They all play a roll.
