I have a 2005 GMC Sierra. For a couple of months now, when the AC is on the drivers side blows hot air but the passenger side works just fine. After talking to a couple buddies and doing some research, we are pretty sure the blend door actuator needs to be replaced. I've tried re-calibrating it but that didn't fix the problem.

I went ahead and ordered the part. I've never had to replace one before and I'm not really sure where exactly the actuator is located on the truck. Will we be able to replace it without taking the dash off? Any chance someone else has replaced one and has some tips. Maybe exactly where its at and how to get to it?
