Well, it's not official yet, but I hope to be picking up a replacement for Big Blue this week.

The specs:
2005 Chevy K2500HD CCSB LT
Duramax LLY/Allison 5spd/3.73s
Bose/heated leather
XM/OnStar/etc.
elec towing mirrors
Line-X over the rails
new 285 BFG TA/KOs on stock aluminum 16s (really happy about these, since I had them on Big Blue)
3 x studded BFG TA/KOs (1 mounted on spare)... prev. owner traveled to snowy areas often...?

I wish I could have found one like yours (GMC, FTW!), as my girl and I both hate the 03+ fronts, but the 06/HDs are tolerable. I have been driving trucks like crazy. 2500/6.0L, 2500HD/8.1L, etc. The 8.1L has a lot of power, but the mileage would be shit for a DD. Once I drove a DMax, the power was awesome, and I was sold. We're planning on buying a horse trailer for my girl's 2 warmbloods, so we had to take the unfortunate loss of Big Blue as an opportunity to upgrade.

Anyone have opinions on a good remote start kit? My truck had CrimeStopper, and it rocked - always treated me right (vs. my girl's, which locks up constantly & won't even start w/key after it freaks). I know the 03+ have diff electronics though.

Also, the Pismo trip is already in the works... late June she'll see the dunes!
