yeah, true, they are getting older, AFAIK, they are the same. Pretty sure they are the same part #

ahh, my 1/2 bars are getting pretty soft and looking to get just a lil more lift, i already have ford keys. I figure i can find some 2500 bars from an OBS in a junk yard probably easier than a NBS truck. And maybe cheaper. I wouldn't mindy getting new ones, but don't feel/need to pay over 300 for a new set.

you need to use your half ton keys with those bars, they are indexed differently. using half ton keys on 3/4 ton bars is like ford keys on the half tons. and yeah, i need to do the same, I just installed a ranch hand and i need some more beef under the front.

That is incorrect. Its the tb indexing on the 2500 lower control arms that make the difference. Not the tbars. Both bars are the same other than their load ratings.

Which is why many have used there ford keys while going to a GL bar.
