Did you guys bypass the radiator, or hook it up inline when you added a cooler? Obviously on the downstream side from the radiator.

Also, just to clarify, the top line going into the radiator is the feed, and the bottom is the return right? So if I bypass the radiator I hook the top line into the top inlet of the trans cooler and the bottom line into the bottom outlet of the trans cooler and im done.

okay, so cut the top return line, tap into it, run a line from the radiator to the trans cooler, and from the trans cooler to the other side of the line that I just cut.

Does that sound right?

Yes. What are you using for line? What cooler?

I put one on my truck at 1,000 miles. It's a Hayden Rapid-cool 679. Make sure whatever you get it's a plate and fin not tube style.

I used the rubber transmission oil hose and 2 band clamps at each connection, it's held for nearly 30,000 miles with no problems at all.

Cooler was 60 at autozone. Lifetime warranty, it's a big cooler too, about 10" by 12".

It only came with enough hose to hook it to one side so I had to buy extra hose and more clamps for extra insurance.
