Hello,

Get your Radix pulley for only $89. It's the best modification you can do for the money. I have all sizes in stock and ready to ship.

Sizes from: 2.75-3.75"

A rule of thumb is for every 1psi, you can expect 10-15hp increase.

thanks,

allen

how much of a compression can the stock 5.3 heads handle?
I can tell you this, a 5.3L Radix with anything lower than a 2.9 will require some tuning. I did one of these a while back and it's still running strong. He was pushing around 9.5psi. His name is The_Mexican on ls1truck.com
Hope this helps with your question becuase I'm not sure exactly how much it can handle before you need to ring the heads or go with some very HD gaskets, but I would say anything over 10psi is pushing it.

Pull those 5.3L heads and install a set of 6.0L heads and run a lot a boost, lol.

thanks,

allne
