I thought my model specific subwoofer box was a perfidy fit till I sat in the back and could feel the box through the stuffing. I would consider raising the seat by .50" to 1" using spacers on the floor bolts. Has anyone done this or does anyone strongly advise not to?

i've seen a thread, maybe not on here, of some guy who machined brackets to do this, since there's room on the bolt, you could jerry rig it and put a nut under there to bump it up a little.. but if you talk to [MENTION=41221]Nasty[/MENTION] or [MENTION=14985]ibanender[/MENTION] they might be able to direct you somewhere

you could stack washers or something under the bracket :shrug: or take the jute padding off the carpet where the box sits.

Mine is raised .75 with grade 8 nuts and a washer, until I get around to making something better.

I raised mine 3" with 3" aluminum channel and grade 8 hardware.
