I thought my model specific subwoofer box was a perfidy fit till I sat in the back and could feel the box through the stuffing. I would consider raising the seat by .50" to 1" using spacers on the floor bolts. Has anyone done this or does anyone strongly advise not to?

i've seen a thread, maybe not on here, of some guy who machined brackets to do this, since there's room on the bolt, you could jerry rig it and put a nut under there to bump it up a little.. but if you talk to Nasty or ibanender they might be able to direct you somewhere

but google is also a good place to look....... scroll through the pics til you get to the seat risers, hopefully that helps

you could stack washers or something under the bracket  or take the jute padding off the carpet where the box sits.
