I just purchased The RCX 5 inch lift for my 2009 GMC. I've tried reading as many post's as I can but cannot find any information on what people are using for a skid plate. From what I can see, my plastic splash guard will have to come off and I don't know what to replace it with, any idea's. Thanks for any input.

The plastic splash guard on the front can be reused with the kit and they give you a different metal skid plate for your front diff

Thanks for the reply. I was under the impression the splash guard would not fit. Will post pic's in the 5 in. picture post this weekend.

If and when your OEM front plastic skid plate cracks, this I the one I replaced mine with:

In order for this CST skid plate to fit on a sub-frame or bracket lifted truck, the lower pair of mounting circular holes had to be cut into u-shapes:
