I wouldnt run them for the same reason that Jeff mentioned. You're effectively decreasing the resistance to twist (torsion), by adding a lever into the equation.
Also on another thing, even if they are of decent quality and wont break, I'd still be worried that the t-bar could somehow become dislodged from the "Realift". That would be bad news.
