On my 2001 Yukon, I have a squeak on the right rear. The noise seems brake related...sounds like the wear indicators...the squeaking goes away when the brakes are applied.
The sound still persists even though I have replaced the pads, rotor, parking brake shoes.
I did some research last night and it may be my wheel bearings. I can grab the studs and pull the "axle" out about 3/16" of an inch on the "noisy" side. On the "quiet" side, I might wiggle it about a millimeter or two.
So if the wheel is "wobbling", would this cause the noises I'm hearing?
