You can try some folex and some steam (just be careful, steam does have the ability to lift the carpet dye and make the carpet look bleached). The red synthetic dyes are really tough to get out, especially if they've been there for a while. You can also try some of this http://www.protectcarpetcleaning.com/red_relief.jsp
Club soda. The carbonation can lift the stain. I've used it on red wine stains and it works great. When I use the green machine I fill a little bit of it's solution and the rest club soda and it works great. There's also something I use called AllGone. I picked it up at Kragen's. It works surprisingly well for 5 bucks. I use it on everything, it works great. I use it around the house too. http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductDetail.aspx?categorycode=3226&mfrcode=BMG&mfrpartnumber=88912
HOT SHOT, in the cleaning goods section of Wal-Mart. It works great, smell a little funcky, but removes the stains. I have cleaned up poweraid, grape juice, kool-aid, with it. After it dries you can use any carpet cleaner over it.
