I have a remote mount oil filter setup. I'm thinking about bolting up -8AN steel braided line on the spin-on oil filter adapter. I'm gonna run that to the remote mount oil filters then to an aftermarket cooler and back to the engine. The block already has holes for remote mount oil cooler lines, I want to close those off and return the oil to the spin-on oil filter adapter. The only problem I see is there obviously has to be a plug or something in the block that makes the oil flow through the cooler instead of just bypassing it. I know there are 2 oil bypass valves in the block and I'm pretty sure there is a third one in there too. I need to know which one to pull out.

The two bypasses I know about.

I think this is the third one. If this is an oil bypass I would think this is the correct one.
