I had issues bottoming out a lot with my 2/4 DJM kit and small worthless bump stops

So I built a set of c-notch brackets and cut up the frame

I didn't take a lot out, I just wanted to be able to use the stock bump stops again.

Much better ride now and Im much happier

I would feel better if the notch wrapped underneath on the rear.

it is a really soft bump stop and it is almost a inch more travel then I had before the c-notch... I figured I would run it full length... if it gives me any problems I will cut it down.

But so far the ride is really smooth and I dont have a loud smacking noise when I hit a bump, that "huge ass" bump stop takes the impact

And after sleeping on it I am thinking of welding the whole thing up... leaving the bolts just welding the bracket

Yeah, what good does it really do, it looks like the bumpstop is even with the frame? Why not trim it a little bit?

So where ever you can get stock OEM replacement bump stops.

I really like the ride and don't feel the need to cut them.

If I ever go lower, I will trim them
