Lets talk Rocky Ridge Conversions.Im looking at a GMC with a lift on it and im wondering about durability.I know about the gearing and the dealer being the only one to warranty the truck.I dont care about all that i want to know about any issues and problems any on has had with them. How are they when you are putting a lot of hwy miles on them.Anyone having any issues????....Thanks Russell S.

Guys im not going to do it myself.I dont have the time or resources.I understand yall think they are BS and thats fine.I just want to know if these kits hold up with a lot of hwy traveling and is there any common problems a man could have with a truck lifted like this.....I can get the truck for $43,000 out the door.

As long as youre not taking the truck out on the Rubicon and beating it to shit or turning corners like an Indy car driver then you shouldn't have any issues above and beyond what a normal truck experiences.

BJ's, tierods, wheel bearings, check for the right gear ratio, u-joints. All of these are wearable parts on any truck but running oversized tires like on these trucks will accelerate wear to an extent. Although mainly hwy miles will be a little more forgiving, but maybe not on these shitty LA roads IMO

lol......Yeah problems!!!.....Tie Rods wearing out and such.
ball joints, tie rods, wheel, bearings, brakes, bushings, sway bar links, squeaks, rattles, transmission issues, poor gas mileage

plus keep in mind that not every shop is going to want to work on it, some service shops cringe when lifted trucks pull in

and since you've never owned a lifted truck before, I can imagine that jumping up into one will get old real quick

tires are gonna be super expensive when they wear out too

If you drive mostly highway, definitely regear.
