i saw yukoneer's thread about it but I just can't bring myself to think the letting my vacuum line suck down the bottle will help

also w/ putting in my gas tank this wont cause it to smoke through the entire tank will it?

or should I put the bottle in when the tank is close to empty?

Bottle in the tank won't do much at all. Do the brake booster.

but if i put it in the booster wont it smoke until new brake fluid is put in? damn confusing ass shit

probably going to stop and pick som up tonight and do this Tuesday when do my brakes
No. It will not get into your booster or brake fluid. You are using the vaccum your engine creates to suck the seafoam into the motor through the brake booster line. You will pull the vaccum line out of the brake booster and pour the seafoam into it.

and it stalls the truck correct?

someone also told me you can spray some of the areosol seafoam can into the intake and let it clean that way
It never stalled mine. I just had to cut mine off quickly after I sucked it into the motor. You could get someone to sit in the truck and cut it off for you too. They make a aerosol too...just whatever you want to use.

I put it in my Jeep before I sold it. It stalled the 4.0.

You want it to stall. That's the whole idea, when it stalls, it pools in the cylinders. That's what you want. Let it sit overnight so it dissolves the carbon built up on top of the pistons.

If you're only doing it while the engine is running, you're pumping that shit right out of the engine.

It needs to sit in order for it to work.

Personally, I'd use GM Top Engine Cleaner.

seafoam is the shit (and I image top engine cleaner is quite the shit as well)

Like everyone else said, pull the vacuum hose off of the booster and pour about 3/4 of the can into the hose. If the engine locks up, good. Let it sit for a while and clean shit up. You can leave it a long time like Matt suggested or fire that bitch back up in about 20-30 minutes and even that small amount of time will clean a lot of shit out.

The aerosol one (deep creep) can be sprayed into the TB but it won't do as good a job as the other stuff. The deep creep tends to clean what it hits more than inside I think.
