well i got off work really early today cause of all the rain and was thinking how nice is was going to be to have a day off. well about 5 miles into the trip home my SES light comes one... Go over to Advance Auto and they plug it up and it reads: System too rich on Bank 1 and 2.

so what could this be and what do i need to do? only thing i can think of is the front O2 sensors are going bad? but i really have no clue...

thanks for the help

"system too rich"...the O2 sensors are seeing too much unburned fuel

"banks 1 & 2"...means both sides of the exhaust see the same thing.

IMO, possible causes...dirty/faulty MAF sensor or dirty air filter.

Other items could also cause this, but would likely affect only one bank, or throw additional codes as well, so I'd check these two first.
