Onto the good news! I got a new door. $100 for an entire door, door panel, window everything so I am hoping to get it thrown on this week and possibly sell the rest of the pieces and recoup some cash.
Also fixed my engine cowl and finally installed my Escalade antenna delete piece that has been sitting on my tool box for a couple months now.

Nope. That is probably the fastest I have ever got something done in my life. Trying to be more time conscious

I have no drone. I can't even hear the exhaust in the cab it is so laughably quiet. Taken a few four hour long trips with no radio on, backwoods and no bluetooth, and it is quiet as a mouse.

No they are for my grandparents mainly. 84 and 75. I plan on levelling out the rear and hope that will be enough to allow them to get in easier.

amp power steps would help them get in easier and look a million time better. Only reason I ask about a muffler is because I had without in 2007 and hated it. I would drive 500 miles at a time though. The annoying hum was too much, not how loud it was

Yeah a lot of people said it would drone real bad but I have zero issues. It is whisper quiet no droning.

Yeah I have been thinking about those. $2k is a fat bill though.

After driving trucks for a long time without steps. I'll take OEM steps anyday of the week over no steps. Easier to get in and saves the rockers and seats.

Are those side steps for you ? Look horrible. Can't imagine running no muffler, I hated the drone on the highway without it
I am running an LBZ with a straight 4 inch exhaust and I never noticed a drone in my Suburban on the highway or city streets.

Maybe I noticed the drone because I had 8" lift.
You jabroni's dont

Also 92 year old grandma gets in truck just fine for me with my amp power steps
I don't even know how this would have an effect on droning but okay. If anything it should drone less since the exhaust has less reverb off the ground. Sensitive ears maybe.

Some people are just sensitive :)

I don't know I drove my Silverado open headers for a few months. It was loud but I never thought it droned or anything. Same with my Impala SS, I don't think it drones or anything but it is loud. Most people would say both of those drone and make them sick.

I think maybe I am just not seeing what you are calling a drone. I've got a 6" lift so I doubt it is that.
