Shaved my tailgate!

well i finally got around to shaving my tailgate. between sir michaels taking a month to get the kit to me and the AC and water heater going out in the house within a couple weeks of one another, i havent had much time.:flame: so this past weekend i told the wife i was going to put her honey-do's on hold for the weekend.lol! i thought about welding in a roll pan but i step on the bumper alot which is why i wasnt sure about painting the plastics either. let me know what you think.

i want to do mine but the top of the gate is holding me back with all those retarded holes. anyone know the point of the holes?

i don't know how it would save money? unless they take the metal and melt it back down/scrap it for money? weight makes sense? sucks for us though.

tailgate looks good. i bought a extra tailgate from my local junk yard so i can attempt to shave it and maybe come up with some custom lighting or tag in it.. just as a experiment so if it goes wrong its no big loss.

thats my winter project.

they are sold. but i do have ONE Polished one left. I'll trade you it for the welder. Seeing as how i can go get a 110 for $100.

yeah i put a hose clamp around the side that picks up to take it off. i figured they will still take it if they wanted but there not gonna get it very fast.
