well i have my flip kit installed now on my 97 c1500 extended cab short bed.
now i was recomended some
Right rear: SUM-G7724
Left rear: SUM-G7726

shocks for my rear but they just dont look right
it looks more like the 7724 should go on the drivers side and longer one on the passenger side.

i was told those where for not using the shock extenders. but i do have the shock extenders.

ive measured the right height from eye to eye and it is
18inches on passenger side or 20.5 if i use the shock extender.
15inches on drivers side or 17.5 with the extender.

Right rear: SUM-G7724
Extended Length (in): 22.500 in.
Collapsed Length (in): 13.650 in.

Left rear: SUM-G7726
Extended Length (in): 18.500 in.
Collapsed Length (in): 11.650 in.

is this correct? im not sure it just looks kinda odd to me.

on a side note the rear looks good so far minus the chevy lean.

i would just install the shocks but im missing hardware for one shock that didnt send me the lower large bolt sleeve. so im really waiting for parts. plus i still need to channel the beds crossmember alittle to clear the axle.

this is the main reason i tell people to measure after all is dropped.

are the numbers you put up at ride height?

the shock ext gives better angle of the shock so it works better
and it should go on the passager side

i just called up doetsch shocks and told them the drop i had
and they sent out the right shocks

i know the differents in shock lenghts should be about 1inch

BUMP anyone know what size shocks i should use with the DJM SHOCK EXTENDERS?

i figure i can move the
Right rear: SUM-G7724 over to the left/drivers side but the right/passenger side im not sure about since i cannt find the right size shock in the summit brand.
looking for one that is about 20.5 inches long give or take.

the shocks without the extenders are alright but i dont think they ride as good as it could!
so id like to put the extenders on and get slightly longer shocks for the best ride i can get. im running numbers from summitracing but that takes time to run them all.
