you have to weld on the upper shock mount. you need to support the vehicle and cycle the suspension with a jack. measure how much stroke you need for the desired lift you want(these numbers will not be the same).
It's the simplest concept of an airbag suspension.

shock preference is not the same for everyone or every vehicle.

The mmw kit doesn't include an upper shock mount for the 88-98 kit does it? I ordered Nfamus shock mounts thinking it didn't.
