Just dropped the front of my truck 1-1.5" with Eibach Coils. Having a noise from the front--suspect a bad shock or shock mount bushing. I am running just 2" shackles in the rear. Is it worth changing out shocks for such a minor drop? If so, what would be best, I've been looking at Doetsch Tech and Edelbrock Performer IAS. I didn't really see anything specify a 1" drop so would I go with the stock height or 2" for front?

Note: this is not on my Z71 but a 2wd sierra 1500

Actually when I did my 2/4 drop I started hearing a noise up front also that I suspected was a bad shock. Long story short, it was my intermediate shaft. It needed to be re-lubed. I hear this is a common problem on the silverado/sierra's. Hope this helps.

Yeah, had my intermediate shaft lubed a long time ago. This is a completely different noise all together.
