Just wanted to give everyone a heads up. I have a couple coupon codes that can be used on my site (www.fastheadlights.com) to save some money on lighting upgrades. Here they are:

gmforum_10% This will get you 10% off anything on the site. If you dont see something. Let me know.

75off_gmbundle This can only be used when you buy one of our retrofit kits (Sierra or Silverado) and Morimoto XBled fog lights together. We can also chrome the xbled fog lights for what I think is a cleaner look. Just select the paint match option and specify chrome in the check out comments.

You do realize you could have use a .99 diode instead of spending $25 to do the same thing right?

I messed with the diodes, but i realized that I wanted it to look cleaner and be safer.

I've had two diodes on the Sierra since the day I bought it in 2010 and no issues. Also they are under the relays in the fuse box so unless you removed the high, low, and fog relay, you would never know they were there.

Any pictures all lit up? Are they a true projector with the stepped light profile or do they just scatter the light? Do they have the bixenon flip down shield? Look good

Finally done the front Grille! Can change it to any color! What color looks the best?!
:iranmaybe: Many years ago, I thought about doing that, but didn't. Red & white look good. I wouldn't use blue on the street. Don't give the po-po a reason to claim you're trying to impersonate them.

Here is a new video I put together for installing a Morimoto D2S 4.0 projector. I dont have this new kit listed on my site yet, but it is going to be the same cost as the FXR kit.

I hadn't had the time till this past week to design a bracket that kept the projector lense as far forward as it needed to be. The new brackets make for a super easy install.

I am still selling the FXR even though the D2S is a slightly easier install. Reason being is that the FXR is a completely sealed projector so no light can escape around the lenses. Lots of guys like the enclosed unit. The FXR and 4.0 perform almost identical to each other. Both can do 55 watt ballasts as well. The 4.0 is a better choice if you want to do a demon eye with an etched lense.

Here is the video:
