The "fluid" you see is for the heated option in the mirror, and the wires run to the heater element inside the mirror glass. They have just mirror glass replacements for them. Google "Redi-cuts mirror replacement" and see where that leads you.
Side-view mirror??
I was wondering if I can replace just the mirror on my 2000 Yukon. The other day somebody hit my drivers side mirror and the mirror fell out, I looked at it and it was fine until I popped it back in. There was two red wires( could this be pre-signal wires?) sticking out so when I tried to pop it back out it got messed up(looks like fluid inside) So I would like to replace just the mirror if they sell that. Thanks

I have mirror glass im looking to sell if your interested...my mirrors were power and heated...no signal in the glass...pm me if your interested
