Silverado SS 3 Piece Engine Cover Part #??

i have the cover on my 05 sierra. it came of my sisters escalade but its all the same for the SS, DENALI, AND ESCALADE! how much you want to give me for it?

Does anybody have the part number for the Vortec MAX Cover??

I'm looking for it, but JP Customs in Houston has the Escalade set, the VMax set, and the Denali set, your choice for $115. That's about what it costs from GM, isn't it?

The Denali cover and 2 side covers is $80 shipped from GMPartsDirect.com so yeah, its a bit cheaper than JP Customs...but I'm still waiting on a part number for the SS one...

I know, but it says Vortec 6000 just like the one pictured above, but it has a cutout for the fly by wire throttle body our engines have....hey its a Super Sport to me!!

I just bought the 145a alt, which has a slightly larger housing. I wonder if it will fit under the cover or not...

Do any of the center pieces not say "Vortec 6000", "SS", "Escalade", etc.? I wouldn't mind these, but I have a 5.3 and wouldn't wanna lie :crazy:. Also, would it be safe to smooth and paint these? Or would it be bad being that they probably get kinda hot?

I see them smoothed and painted all the time. You would have to shave the 6000/VMax/Escalade logos off if you didn't want them, which has been done before too.

my dad has one on his 06 escalade that says Vortec max and its a different and newer design im about to trade with him...he doesnt even know how to pop the hood anyways:rofl2:.

How come the 06 Escalade say Vortec Max anyways? I work on a 06 Escalade before and it said the same thing!

Cheaper for GM to stop producing the custom Cadillac covers. Since most Cadillac owners..
