I have an 04 Extended Cab Silverado 1500...

I have found boxes that will work under the rear seat, but can't decide which would be best..

an up firing box, down firing box, or front firing box.

Anybody know any differences in the 3? I was looking at the down firing, but wanted to know if anyone had experience with the other 2..

Subs and amp will be RF stuff.. probably P6001 amp with 2 P210D2

downfire will give you the most "boom" IMO...i find upfiring a bit iffy, bc you may be damaging the sub by hitting up against the seat. Forward firing is nice for those deep subs

fatty fatty front firing had a couple and loved them had one downfiring i was happy with but was more impressed with the front firing because of the ability for a bit more woofer imo

My sub is downfiring and I love it. I just wish I had put some sound deadener in as well since it shakes my interior so much.
