well my 37 chevy truck project got pushed to the side for this project for now

anyways its a 84 mini mayfair, 998 with the big 13in wheels and 8.4 disc brakes up front

alittle info on the car before i start with pictures
i paided 500pounds for the car out the door, and thats with 15% tax added onto the price also
i drove the car home 40miles that day, car ran alittle hot because it was low on coolant due to the heater matrix leaking

i don't know much history to the car but i think the
last time it had road tax on it was summer 2005

so i sent off for a new v5 and had to pay 25pounds,(about $40bucks)
and 6 weeks later the car is reg under my name
full coverage insur for this car is only $40bucks a month

this is what it looked like the night i got it home

the drivers side, cut out the rust and made a patch panel

i had to buy a welder out here,
so i got a used clarke 110amp welder, 240v-50/60hz, runs off a 13amp breaker

my lincoln 175 needs to big of a breaker for over here and my house doesn't have
one wired up that goes that big

so i paided 122pounds for this welder used
and i spent 60pounds for a reg/wire/bottle of gas

i welded this with .9mm flux wire and thats when i knew i needed to get the gas set up for this welder, doing flux with sheet metal sucks

i got the panel sealed up and painted with some rust paint, i didn't grind it smooth because the floor of the car is gonna get covered in dnyomat extreme so no need to waste the time grinding out the welds

oh yeah, i took the factory whatever that black stuff was off the floor

the metal around the window seal was rusted thur, sanded down the rust to bare metal
and i had to prime it because the rain here is pretty bad, so bare metal will rust pretty fast here if not sealed
