I've ran my truck the same way, one with spindles and spacers and one with spindles and coils...and imo I liked the ride a whole hell of a lot better on a spacer than coil

I used the springtech spacers with my fabtech spindle lift kit on my 2004 the first time I lifted it. Worked fine. The second time I lifted it, I used the daystar spacers with the rough country spindle lift, and with this kit there was actually more clearance with everything using the same size tires, and the rough country kit combined with the daystar spacers rode 10 times better than the sprintech/fabtech combo. Never used lifted coils so no comment on them.

My exact setup I had, rough country spindles and daystar level

Thanks a lot. It sounds like the spacer might provide better ride quality.

Though im wondering if the difference you saw between the fabtech/springtech and rough country/daystar is related to the daystars being composite. Ive heard of them sagging and losing lift over time, not sure how much of that is true. So I was hoping to get metal ones. Though I thought I remembered seeing readylift ones that were metal, but rubber coated or something. Maybe I should look into that. Though I am finding a lot of spacers not compatible with extended cab models ... not sure why this is.

As far as spindles any big difference between springtech, rough country, and maxtrac? Should I just save money here any get they cheaper springtechs which are about 100 less?

Thanks again.
