So both of my doors are squeaking really bad and are hard to open and close. I've tried oiling them and it only stops it for a day or two.

I was wondering if the 2000 Silverados have bushings in the hinges like the older trucks.

If not, whats the best way to fix that? It's annoying as hell.

I'm posting this with absolutely no purpose. I'm only informing you that you will not get any answers until your sig stops distracting me and probably other members.

I wish you the best of luck, and hope you appreciate the bump.

Tire shine; the silicone based stuff in an aerosol can. It works awesome.

But there's no bushings or anything that people know to replace? My truck has 190,000 miles on it, so I just have a feeling it might need more than some lube.

I would clean the hinges completly to take off all of the grim and lub that was put on them. Then I would second the white lithium grease. Just a thought.
