Took the molding of my sierra last night and there are what looks to be stains in the paint around the edges of the molding. Slowly removed it on one side by using cleaner wax and buffing it off with a mircofiber. I'm wondering if there is a easier way to remove the lines?

I would try a clay bar. It may take some elbow grease, but should do the trick.

Rubbing compound took it right off in about 10 minutes. Amazed how it worked versus the cleaner wax.

I usually just buff every truck I demold and it takes away 99% of the line and I've demolded probably 15 trucks at least.

Cleaner wax doesn't totally do it. I agree you should try using a rubbing compound, might work for you too.
