ok the other day i was leaving the mall and i was turning corners and such and i heard what i thought was a dog barking, i had my music up loud and was talking and it just sounded like a dog in the background...i turn everything off and shut up and it seems like the steering wheel is rubbing up against the steering wheel colum cover or something...its hard to explain, i took it to the dealer to get oil changed and told them, and they told me it was the steering column that needed to be lubed up but that didnt fix it...i was wondering if anyone has had this problem or might know what im talking about

GM has a bulletin for replacing the intermediate steering shaft to cure a "clunk/pop" noise. That is the only common problem that i know of.
