I'm getting Lund 5 inch oval step bars put on my 2013 silverado. I'm pretty sure they use the factory step bar holes. So does this mean they attach to the truck body or frame? I want to add a small body lift so I want a step bar that attached to body.

They should use the body mounts, so to the frame.

From what I've seen so far I think they mount to the rockers

look up on Lund's website for instructions on the steps and see how they are mounted.
