Switch to a CD.Is there something i can do to change it?
Yes i sure did add a couple of JLW3's 10's under my back seat...but IIRC, the reception was crappy before that too. But could adding speakers make it worse? Also, i still have the stock radio. My reception is always great, even without my antenna, at least on FM. AM is okay. AM came in good when I ran my antenna.
Have you done anything, electronic wise, to your truck? like HIDs, aftermarket speakers, etc?
I've been making alot of CD's lately to cope with the non-radio stressSwitch to a CD.![]()
That i do notnot live in the middle of fucking no where?
No HIDs yet bro.kk so if it was crappy reception ahead of time then what you've done to the speakers wouldn't make a difference.
Are you running HIDs in your headlamps?
hmm, dunno then.
you talk to your dealership at all?
I haven't had the dealership look at anything yet, I do know that they will still look at the trucks antenna, allthough it will not be covered by my factory warranty...sounds like the antenna extension cable behind the dash was never connected properly from the factory, that or the ends were not properly crimped on the cable.
The dealer will test the cable for proper continuity.
did u plig the antenna wire back into the back of your stereo? If u did u still may want to see if its looseYes i sure did add a couple of JLW3's 10's under my back seat...but IIRC, the reception was crappy before that too. it's covered. It was apart of your truck when you got it, so thus covered by warranty. Although it seems small, it is still covered. Worst thing that can happen is they will say they can't do anything.I haven't had the dealership look at anything yet, I do know that they will still look at the trucks antenna, allthough it will not be covered by my factory warranty...
