I got to thinking, I know that the 4L60E converters have different STRs.
The 5.3s are only a 1.9 (I think so are the 6.0) and the 4.2 and 4.8 are a 2.1 but are the 4L80E converters a 2.3+ STR?
The trucks with the 4L80E seem to flash stall higher and seem able to burn the tires easier too N/A (the 6.0 doesn't make a whole lot more power stock). Reason that makes me wonder is that the HD Ford unit (E4OD/4R100) has a 2.5 STR...
