I have a couple carriage bolts I need to remove. Problem is that they were put in a non carriage spot so they just spin when I try to remove them. Since they have a rounded top I can't get a pliers or vice grip on them. They just spin with an impact too. I've tried putting a pry bar between the head of the bolt and the surface to no avail. They are big bolts and there really isn't a good place to cut them. I've thought about cutting a slot onto the top, but that wouldn't give a ton of leverage.

It's too big for my nut cracker.
