i was thinking of building boxes to go under the seats in my obs std cab. i am a big tall dude and love my leg room. i was wondering if anyone has tried this? i was thinking about a fiberglass. i am only running 2 8" re audios so i am sure i have plenty of room. shoot me any feedback if you have tried this in the past..

its a bench seat so its off the floor a bit anyways. i friend had a set of 6x9s in a box under his seat so i dont see why i cant do subs

The problem will be in material thickness and internal volume. If you used 5/8 MDF (recommended) then you could have a serious problem with cuft and it will overall sound like crap.

To combat the small space you could always stuff the boxes with polyfill to give the woofer the illusion it has more airspace.

you can use fiberglass to gain more air space.
