Synergy Motorsports in fremont?

Has anyone else on here used them? Rick is a pretty nice guy and he has tuned my old 04 Sierra and 04 Yukon. I've got a coupon for a tune for 350.00. Thinking of getting my 06 Sierra tuned. Any input?

Thanks!

He is a very good tuner, but from the way i understand it you have to pay for all the retunes. I would go blackbear since the retunes are free

:word:

Never heard anything bad at all....prices seem to be extremely high though.
A few guys over on pt.net have used him. There's two camps...those who love him and those who hate him. Nobody questions the quality of his work though from what I've seen. He does seem very pricey though.
but for 350.00 I guess it's a good deal - correct? He reflashed my yukon for free when the dealer "updated" my PCM and I lost the tune.

I bought an STS turbo kit from Rick. He's a nice guy and plenty of people like him over on pt.net like said.

$350 isn't anything special. Justin at Blackbear tunes for $250 and under and he has the most indepth mailorder tuning process available and his customer service is second to none.

Mark pretty much summed it up. :read:
iirc he gave me a quote of 400 or 450 for a dyno tune with out retunes before i went with blackbear...

i ended up going with blackbear because they included retunes and was drasticly cheaper.

i would only go with synergy if you were putting out high numbers with boost and needed a dyno.
