Ok guys...How come I can't get my tach to work? I have it tapped into the the white wire behind the cluster and nothing happens. I've tried it on all cylinder settings...Any suggestions

I don't know that that wire to the guages is a very strong signal. You might try getting a tach signal directly from one of the coils.

pin 10 on the red connector of the pcm is the rpm out wire. its also a 4 cyl. signal...don't hold me to it, but you should be able to tap into that to get it working. btw, its a white wire.

Or try this. This is the info I have for a tach signal hook up wire for installing a remote starter.
Use any wire that is NOT PINK, BLACK, or BROWN at any fuel injector.

why do a cheap tach you got off ebay for your 05 with mods when you have a stock one on the dash?
